Cancellation & Refund Policy

Guidelines for cancellations and refunds on purchases and services.

1. Policy Overview

This policy outlines the terms under which cancellations and refunds may be considered for products and services purchased from Vedh Electronics. By making a purchase or booking a service, you acknowledge and accept these terms.

Please Note: Refunds are granted at our sole discretion based on the criteria outlined in this policy. Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee a refund.

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1 Cancellation Window

Cancellation requests will only be considered if made within 5 days of placing the order, subject to the following conditions:

  • The order has NOT been communicated to the seller/vendor for processing
  • Shipping has NOT been initiated
  • The product is NOT out for delivery

2.2 Cancellation Not Permitted

Cancellation requests will NOT be entertained if:

  • The order has been dispatched or is in transit
  • The product is out for delivery โ€” you may reject at doorstep
  • The product has been delivered
  • Parts or components have been ordered specifically for you

2.3 Non-Cancellable Items

The following items cannot be cancelled:

  • Perishable items (flowers, eatables, etc.)
  • Custom-ordered parts or components
  • Installed or fitted components
  • Digital products or software licenses
  • Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Refundable"

3. Refund Eligibility

3.1 Product Refunds

Refunds may be considered ONLY in the following cases:

  • Defective Product: Product has manufacturing defects (reported within 5 days)
  • Damaged in Transit: Product damaged during shipping (reported within 48 hours)
  • Wrong Product: Different product delivered than ordered
  • Quality Issues: Product quality significantly below reasonable expectations

3.2 Reporting Requirements

  • Defects/damage must be reported within 5 days of receipt
  • Photographic/video evidence must be provided
  • Original packaging must be retained
  • Product must be returned in original condition

3.3 Verification Process

All refund requests are subject to verification by our team and/or the seller. We reserve the right to reject claims that cannot be verified or do not meet our criteria.

4. Non-Refundable Items & Charges

The following are NOT eligible for refund under any circumstances:

  • Inspection/Diagnosis Fee (โ‚น299): Non-refundable once technician is dispatched
  • Shipping/Delivery Charges: Non-refundable unless error is ours
  • Installed Parts: Components that have been installed or fitted
  • Custom Orders: Parts ordered specifically for your device
  • Opened/Used Products: Products with broken seals or signs of use
  • Products without Original Packaging: Items not returned in original packaging
  • Service Charges for Work Completed: Labor for repairs already performed
  • Products Damaged by Customer: Post-delivery damage or mishandling

5. Repair Service Refunds

5.1 Inspection Fee

The inspection fee of โ‚น299 is non-refundable as it covers the technician's time, travel, and diagnostic expertise. This applies whether or not you proceed with repairs.

5.2 When Service Refund May Apply

  • Repair was not completed due to our inability (not parts availability)
  • Same issue recurs within warranty and we cannot resolve it
  • Duplicate charges were processed in error

5.3 When Service Refund Does NOT Apply

  • You change your mind after repair completion
  • New/different issues arise (not covered by original repair)
  • Device damaged after repair due to external factors
  • Parts not available and you opt not to wait
  • You refuse to pay for approved repairs

6. Warranty Service vs. Refund

If you experience issues with a repaired device, our warranty service should be utilized first:

  • Warranty repairs are free for the same issue within the warranty period
  • Refunds are considered only when warranty repairs fail to resolve the issue
  • Refund decisions are final and made at our sole discretion

Products with manufacturer warranty should be referred to the manufacturer for warranty claims.

7. Refund Process

7.1 How to Request

  1. Contact us within the eligible timeframe with order details and reason
  2. Provide photographic/video evidence (for damaged/defective claims)
  3. Await our verification and decision (2-5 business days)
  4. If approved, return the product as instructed (if applicable)
  5. Refund processed after receipt and inspection of returned item

7.2 Refund Timeline

Verification:2-5 business days
Processing (after approval):5-7 business days
Bank Credit:5-10 additional days

7.3 Refund Method

Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method. For cash payments, refund will be via bank transfer (bank details required). Refund amount may be reduced by applicable deductions for shipping, restocking, or usage.

8. Refund Deductions

Refunds may be subject to the following deductions:

  • Restocking Fee: Up to 15% for returned products
  • Shipping Costs: Original and return shipping (unless our error)
  • Usage Deduction: For products showing signs of use
  • Missing Items: Value of missing accessories, manuals, or packaging
  • Damage: Repair cost if product returned in damaged condition

9. Final Provisions

  • All refund decisions are made at our sole discretion and are final
  • We reserve the right to deny refunds for abuse of this policy
  • Fraudulent refund claims may result in legal action
  • This policy may be updated at any time without prior notice
